With elements of light, landscape, ecology and culture, the artist put focus on the nature and human as the principle forms of being in his architectural work, again promoted the ideals of naturalism to which he consistently adhered. The ecological ideas of natural integration of buildings is illustrated indoor by the use of easy-going wood materials, gentle curve lines, natural light and greenery, while the vernacular houses with patios embody the delicacy of the humanistic residential architecture of Guide.
